Come and get to know Lazio Images and the amazing people I get to meet by looking through my camera. I have been extremely blessed to be invited into so many peoples lives, capturing their children and their lives. On my journey as a photographer over the past 8 years I have learned there is not much of a greater joy than a child's smile, a smile that is constantly changing: a giggle, a grin, dimples, and joy shining in their eyes. I am a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband and a mother of 3 little boys. My family brings so much joy to me. I just got done scrolling through our family images and through those images I see the joy in the every day life and that is what I hope to bring you. Joy in the small things, making sure a moment doesn't pass by with out capturing it to look back in fondness of the moments that feel crazy but truly have more joy and love combined then I ever knew was possible. Photography is more then a passion of mine it is apart of who I am. My camera is a tool I I have been given to bless you and see you shine no matter what your season in life is. Thanks you for stopping by and I truly hope your time here is filled with warmth, smiles and refreshment.

He opened the little glass doors to our fire place and was sitting there having a morning snack of ash.

I met the Randall’s 4 weeks after William was born. I remember waking up from a very sleepless night, get in the car and drive to the Randall’s home in Broomfield. My little William cried all night long….and I was exhausted. I got to the front door, rang the bell…the door opened and we both started laughing. Just a few days earlier we ran into each other at the children’e museum, held a conversation…neither one of us knew we would meet again a few day’s later. Well Kerryn’s family was so fun…..we stayed in touch after the photo session and a few months ago I got a e-mail that asked if I would fly to San Diego to shoot her family again. This time they had a new addition. Their kids are almost identical to my kids age and again I was blessed. Kerryn met me at the airport….and from the minute we saw each other it was as if long lost friends reconnected. I had such an amazing day, not only shooting 3 fabulous families that Kerryn arranged for me, but really getting to know Kerryn. She is an incredible mother, Chad and Kerryn really do work amazingly together and I just saw how it truly is a partnership in parenting. They are beautiful….and their children are a direct result of that beauty.
THANKS SO MUCH RANDALL’S, not only for the sessions, but for the amazing visit!!!
The Kreil Family is another beautiful family I met while in San Diego. I walked into their home and I truly felt like I had known them for years. Scott and Krista adopted Kendra from China a few years ago, and just a few weeks before I met them they adopted Connor from Thornton, CO. They are a gorgeous family and Kendra is so full of life. Scott and Krista have such a loving presence. I was particularly blessed, because Krista and Scott’s story hits so close home to my sister’s story, as my sister and her family are going to go and meet their new little china doll in just 6 days.
Thanks Scott and Krista, what a blessing to meet your family!!
- o my WORD!!!!!!!!!! i can't handle the cuteness!!!! i so badly want to see them! k & k are in CO right now w/brad....makes me wish i was with them to see you too! ok, so i've "thought" this so many times...i think aaron looks like his aunt A!!! ??? what do you think? great job at capturing the everyday moments w/their 1rst cuts!!August 26, 2010 - 10:02 AM
A few weeks ago I hopped on a plane and headed to San Diego. I had the opportunity to shoot 3 beautiful families there and one of those families was the Schwarz Family.
The Schwarz family showed such a sense of family, you could really see that they loved each other and meant the world to one another . The kids were amazing and so polite and sweet. Thank You Schwarz family for giving me this opportunity!!! I loved your gorgeous city too.
So I am a wee bit behind this week. Yesterday I was finishing up a few things in the morning and then ran over to a friends house in the afternoon where we followed up on our canning kick from Last Thursday, all together we canned 25 lbs of Tomatoes and 60 lbs of peaches. With Peaches and Tomatoes done, are list of canning is just starting. I am so excited to open my pantry in the winter and pull out a can of peaches, popping off the lid and making some peach cobbler in Feb. Snow flying and warm cobbler. That sounds so comforting to me.
But speaking of yummy food. I ran into this amazing blog the other day. These are some of my favorites so far.
Happy Tuesday!!!!
- awesome ideas. would you mind passing along the name of the blog?August 25, 2010 - 10:08 PM

She was a sorority sister and he worked in the house. It turned into love and that turned into Isabella.
On most days you can catch them with a good book, with music playing in the background…and then on the weekends they love breathing in the fresh Colorado Air.
Isabella has the most laid back personality. I don’t think I heard a peep from her and yet she just looked around taking it all in.
Her big blue eyes matched the colorado sky! ”And oh-so-kissable chubby cheeks,” are not to ever be forgotten!!
Thank you so much Stephanie and Robb!! I was thrilled to be able to capture this moment in life for you. You truly blessed me that rainy Colorado night!
So I ran into a ton of fun things: These are very simple quick projects that will really make your kids or your kids teachers day!!!
Have fun!
